Spindle Units for Grinding, belt driven

Type Series GSI for Internal Grinding

Grinding Spindles of type series GSI are for internal grinding of small bores. The internal taper 1:7,5 where the receiver for the grinding mandrel promotes a short distance between grinding taper and bearing - subsequently a high degree of system rigidity as well as reduced spindle-bearing loads. Self-compensating attached UKF ultrahigh frequency bearings provide sufficient safety reserves, even at the established speed limit of the spindle. Grinding mandrels and belt pulleys upon request.

Lifetime grease lubrication

Type Series GSA for Internal Grinding

The Grinding Spindles of type series GSA are for internal grinding of larger and also deeper bores. The grinding mandrel with its external 1:7,5 taper and heavy cross-section is intended to extend into the bore. With counter-bored holes, even the spindle sleeve may be allowed to extend into the cavity. Self-compensating attached UKF ultrahigh frequency bearings provide sufficient safety reserves, even at the established speed limit of the spindle. Grinding mandrels and belt pulleys upon request.

Lifetime grease lubrication

Type Series GAV for External Grinding

The type Series GAV is designed for external grinding, as well as surface grinding and face grinding. The external 1:7,5 taper with its large cross-section and external locking thread can accept grinding wheel flanges for straight as well as cup wheels. The large shaft cross-sections combined with the four-row bearing on the workload end sustain high loads and rigidity. Grinding wheel flanges and belt pulleys upon request. Automatic balancing systems by different manufacturers can be integrated in the shaft or in the wheel flange, depending on the size of the spindle.

Lifetime grease lubrication.

Special dimensions, special performance for High Speed for ex. with Hybrid Bearings and/or special grease on Request by Data Sheet.
